  • Site closed: The third floor of Angkor Wat is closed during Buddhist festivals.
    When you withdraw money from an ATM with an international card, you don’t get Khmer Riel, only USD, and it’s accepted anywhere in Cambodia except coins and old banknotes.
    Using your own charger, you can charge your camera or phone in the restaurant during your lunch break.
    Smoking, drinking or touching the carvings is prohibited in and around the temple.

  • Dress Code: Both male and female visitors to temples are required to present themselves in a dignified and comfortable manner. We strongly advise wearing modest apparel.
    This refers to attire that covers your knees and shoulders.
    In the mostly hot Asian environment, loose, lightweight, long clothing is both courteous and cool.
    It is essential to wear comfy shoes.
    If visitors arrive at the park wearing attire that is deemed inappropriate, the Apsara Authority, which oversees the park, maintains the power to deny admission to such portions of the property.
